User Profile for Marge Baker (mbaker)

Bio: Marge Baker has worked for more than 30 years in various public service roles. She is currently Executive Vice President for Policy and Program Planning at People For the American Way, a non-profit organization working on an array of issues affecting Constitutional rights and civil liberties. Prior to her current position she was the Staff Director for the late Senator Paul Wellstone on the Senate’s Employment, Safety and Training Subcommittee. Baker is a graduate of Yale Law School, has served as a law clerk in the federal judiciary, as a counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and as head of consumer protection for a state regulatory agency.
