Bio: Ken Cook is co-founder and President of the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a non-profit organization that works to protect the public from health problems attributed to toxic chemicals, and pushes for national policies that invest in conservation and sustainable development. Mr. Cook joined the environmental movement in the 1970s, serving as chief lobbyist and later as head of media relations at the World Wildlife Fund. Mr. Cook earned his B.A., B.S., and M.S. degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is the author of dozens of articles, opinion pieces and reports on environmental, public health and agricultural topics.
