Bio: Jean Andre Sassine became an ACORN Home Defender this spring as he and his family faced foreclosure. He is chairperson of the St. Albans ACORN neighborhood group. Jean led an action of 120 people to stop foreclosure auctions at the Queens Courthouse, and an action against the marshal who handles the most foreclosure evictions in New York City. He has appeared on the CBS Early Show and CNN.
