Bio: Jennifer Pae is the elected president of the United States Student Association, the country’s oldest and largest national student association representing millions of students across the country. Pae recently ended her term as the primary student negotiator for the student loan committee and has also testified before Congress on higher education issues. She now oversees the national campaigns of USSA, which includes the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act, increasing federal funding for higher education during the budget and appropriations process, and the successful Students Vote 2006 campaign. Pae has been quoted and appeared in several national media outlets. She currently serves on the Board of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, National Jobs with Justice Board, and the Generation Change Advisory Board for the Center for Community Change.
