Bio: Jennie Blackton, an Emmy Winner, started her career acting on Broadway as a teenager, and progressed to hosting talk shows on radio and TV in New York City and Los Angeles. Later, she began writing sitcoms, from “One Day at a Time” to “Roseanne” prior to becoming a vice president of several movie studios. For the past 12 years, she has found her soul work developing candidates for local, city and state elections. She has also worked outside the United States on campaigns in Malawi, Haiti, Nigeria, and Greece. She has been with Progressive Majority almost since the beginning, helping to create smart candidates who talk convincingly to voters.
