Bio: Ian Inaba is an accomplished filmmaker, organizer, and new media expert. As Co-Executive Director of Citizen Engagement Lab, he is currently aiding the incubation of Presente.org, an online organizing initiative focused on the concerns of Latino communities. Previously, he co-founded VideoTheVote.org, a nationwide network of citizen journalists that monitor election irregularities. Ian directed the Sundance award-winning documentary American Blackout, chronicling voter suppression. He wrote, directed, and produced Eminem's video "Mosh" – which was shared over 10 million times online. He also co-authored the book True Lies with his partners at GNN.tv, a citizen journalism project for young people that he helped establish in 2000.
