Bio: Dean M. Nielsen is the Regional Director for Progressive Majority where he manages eight state programs from coast-to-coast. Dean previously served as Progressive Majority’s Washington State Director, where he helped elect more than 100 candidates. After four elections, he held the highest candidate win rate in the organization. A career politico, he has worked on hundreds of campaigns nationwide starting with Bill Clinton in 1992. His lengthy client list includes Governor Gary Locke, Solidarity Party (Poland) and Gore/ Lieberman, as well as issue work for EMILY’s List, NARAL Pro-Choice Washington, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, SEIU and the Democratic Party.
