Bio: Virginia State Delegate Adam Ebbin represents the 49th House District in suburban Washington. Elected in 2003, Ebbin serves on the Education, Transportation and Health, Welfare and Institutions committees. He previously served as the chief deputy commissioner of the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry for Governor Mark Warner. A native of Commack, New York, Ebbin has resided in Alexandria since 1989. He is a graduate of the American University in Washington and was a fellow at the University of Virginia’s Sorenson Institute of Political Leadership in 2000.
