New contemporary political movements don't come from traditional politics and don't depend on representational democracies. they sit outside it.

- How do we build the economy without baking the planet? Answer: we have to go green
- need to weatherize and solarize the country... we could do it!
- what's stopping us? all the parts are there, but there's no platform linking people
