ANTIKVARIÁT PRAHA, subtitled a Trade Fair for Books, Old Prints and Graphics, will take place at the Prague Exhibition Grounds in the art nouveau Palace of Industry together with the 10th annually international fair Collector (Sberatel), which is dedicated to philately, numismatics, historical postcards and other collecting fields (www.sberatel.info). Last year, both fairs were viewed by a record number of 13,655 satisfied visitors, one of six having come from abroad.

The Czech Republic and especially Prague have warm relations with rare, historical objects like old books, prints and graphics. After all, various cultures have mingled here over the centuries, leaving an indelible impression on this country in the heart of Europe.

And where other than Prague would one hold an antiquarian trade fair that is important at a cultural and social level as well as being important as an exhibition?
