Description
This workshop will explore methodologies, tools, and examples of using mobile phones for large scale data collection.

We will discuss data collection using volunteers v. trained staff; collection via SMS v. collection via GPRS; and data collection across various sectors: public health government oversight and human rights (and possibly polling?)

The organizer is a senior technologist at the National Democratic Institute.
