Behind each tree, at FIMAP/FERRÁLIA, there lies a forest full of business opportunities to discover…And one which you can be a part of!

The International Woodworking Machines Fair (15th edition) and the Exhibition of Auxiliary Equipment and Supplies for the Wood Industry (10th edition) are back at EXPONOR and, more than ever before, have returned to their roots.

The roots of the sector, from an economic perspective, run very deep. Roughly 12 per cent of the Portuguese industrial gross domestic product and 10 per cent of total exports depend on the forest. Moreover, its veins generate roughly 113 thousand direct jobs.

Every two years, the heart of this vitality is in the spotlight at Porto International Fair. The 2008 edition will reveal the contextual changes which have affected the sector in recent times and, by brushing away branches and removing shadows, will unveil the new challenges and opportunities which the entrepreneurial fabric now faces.
