Our first initiative will be the 2008 HMF International Film/Media Festival & Conference in New York City December 10-14, 2008 at the Tribeca Cinemas, Gallery, and Event Spaces.

The 2008 Festival & Conference will include the following components:

1) A high-profile international, competitive film festival for international film, both narrative and documentary, in short and long forms, with sidebars representing specific humanitarian crises.

2) Art/Photographic gallery openings and exhibitions, from among internationally-known artists and photojournalists, both to explore critical humanitarian crises and subject matter, and to raise funds for the issues themselves. Several key slots will also be open for a competitive Call for Entries.
