Description
Jake McKee, Principal and Leading Strategist, Ant's Eye View
The groundbreaking LEGO Mindstorms Robotics System was launched in 1998, and much to the surprise of many LEGO employees, both kid and adult enthusiasts alike immediately began hacking, modifying, and expanding the system. Seven years later when LEGO decided to redesign the system from the ground up, they included the hackers from the beginning.
-Selecting the right influencers for long-term projects
-Supporting both enthusiasts and product designers in a long-term project
-Balancing a great fan experience with intense amounts of work required of them
