The Maritime Safety and Security 2007 conference delivered practical case studies of successful maritime safety and security operations in Africa from countries like KENYA, GHANA, NAMIBIA, TANZANIA, MOZAMBIQUE, ANGOLA AND SOUTH AFRICA. This created an opportunity for all the major role players, including Fisheries to discuss and debate their responsibilities and involvement in order to find possible solutions for the future.
