The hedge fund industry is slowly beginning to acknowledge that a large part of its returns comes not from alpha (outperforming the market or index). This insight is gradually spreading amongst the more sophisticated hedge fund investors, and is set to revolutionise the way that investors think about hedge funds. How funds can replicate the performance and returns of hedge funds, but without the high fees is the theory behind “Hedge Fund Replication” through Alternative Beta.

Based on the success of the event in London, New York and Switzerland, Terrapinn is proud to announce the launch of Hedge Fund Replication & Alternative Beta Japan in 2008. The 1st Asian version will be held in Hong Kong in November 2007, and South Africa and Australia will also be running the same event.
