Defence Logistics worldwide can be best characterised by change. Budget cuts, a changing military landscape and the need to become more efficient and effective in the way that operations are supported have lead nations to transform the way that logistics support is delivered. Operations are increasingly multinational in nature, involving cooperation, co-ordination and synchronisation of operational support amongst participating nations, putting issues of interoperability, information exchange and joint-working at the top of the coalition logistics agenda. The role of industry has also shifted with contractors providing platform support through life and being expected to deliver their services on deployed operations, right up to the last tactical mile.

International Defence Logistics 2007 addressed these and many more issues, over four content packed days with presentations and workshops by 50 high-ranking International military leaders, NATO officials and Industry Thought Leaders.
