First Expo a staggering success...

From the 1 - 3 June 2007 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre the first Master Builders BUILDING & HOME IMPROVEMENT EXPO was the place to be for anyone about to embark on a home renovation or building project, attracting a massive 18,000 visitors over 3 days.

Exhibition organiser Australian Exhibitions & Conferences was thrilled at the response to the first show. Managing Director Marie Kinsella commented, “This is a unique event, open to both trade and public, and is held in collaboration with the Master Builders Association of Victoria. We knew there was potential for a great Building Expo and we wanted it to be unlike anything Victoria had seen before. We opened the doors on Friday morning and the Expo was soon a hive of activity. Over 18,000 visitors sought information and services during the three days.”


Visitors also took advantage of informative seminars and demonstrations (with sessions full to capacity over the weekend) as well as walking through the Sustainable Living and Building Feature, which displayed the key elements of a sustainable modern home.
