The annual Bioneers Conference (www.bioneers.org) is an internationally recognized hub of
practical solutions to some of the most pressing environmental and social problems of our
time. Held every October at the Marin Center in San Rafael, CA, the Bioneers Conference
serves as a focal point and networking opportunity for people from all walks of life – students,
professionals, educators, activists, scientists, government officials and others – who are
involved in the work of restoring the health of the earth and human communities. We have
now expanded our conference geographically by partnering with communities and universities
across the continent, broadcasting the plenary sessions from the San Rafael conference via
satellite.
Built on a platform of visionary and practical solutions the Bioneers Conference addresses a
wide range of environmental, health and societal issues such as fossil-fuel dependency,
sustainable design, ecological literacy, water conservation, public health, ecological medicine,
healthy farming practices, wilderness preservation, and social justice. The speakers presenting
at each Bioneers Conference are highly respected leaders and experts in their field, who put
together rich, comprehensive and groundbreaking presentations for conference attendees.
