Great conference
A review of the conference overall
The conference was v. interesting. Pretty good networking and it was my first big speaking engagement. I was apparently rated the best speaker at the conference, but I put that down to the message... The MS facilities were fantastic and apparently several thousand people listened to the webcast. No schwag! I rated the content 3 because I already knew most of it... |

Blog a log agog a ding-a-dong blog!
A review of the session "Panel Discussion 2: True Voice – The Bloggers Speak"
If a logger falls in the woods and there were no bloggers around to hear it, would it be blogged or make a sound? Blogging is the power of one voice, attached to one person or a group of like-minded people. The speakers here represented that very well. Overall, a decent session but perhaps a bit heavy on the ego-tripping. |

PubSub is a Force to be Reckoned With
A review of the session "PubSub Demonstration"
What's pubbed and subbed and read all over? PubSub, that's what. PubSub, a new search/matching technology allows a user to subscribe to searches, notifying them instantly when new content comes along that matches their search. Alerts can be sent via RSS or email. Amazing stuff! Google only wishes it had something as cool as this. |

Blogging is Definitely Mainstream
A review of the session "Keynote"
As one of the pioneers of the blog format, I can certainly say Scoble has hit the nail on the head with his overview of blogging and how it has permeated itself into corporate America and the mainstream media. |
